Chicago welcomes home Prophetess Juanita Bynum(Weeks) who will be ministering in song on Sunday inside a birthday celebration In Honor Dr. ML King and a Prophetess at Apostolic Faith Church at 7:30pm. Bishop Horace Smith, MD is pastor. Also, join me, Angela Martin and Pastor John Hannah as we celebrate another year with the prophetess during her birthday celebration and release of her new cd, “A Piece of My Passion” this Monday, January 16th at Wal-Mart, 1300 Des Plaines Avenue in Forest Park from 1 to 3pm. She is inviting all to celebrate her birthday with cake and ice cream and signing the largest birthday card. The Sunday she will be and the event is free and open to the public.

Our prayers go to the legendary Delores Barrett Campbell of the world renowned Barrett Sisters who has been hospitalized for several weeks. The gospel music icon has been on bed rest since September and is about to enter rehab at Lincoln Park Hospital, 550 W. Webster.Campbell who has been singing for over 65 years and began her career with the Roberta Martin Singers is inviting all to her 80th birthday musical scheduled for March 12th at Trinity United Church of Christ where Dr. Jeremiah Wright is Pastor. “The Queen of Gospel” Albertina Walker will be her special guest for the evening in addition to a very special surprise guest.

The City of Maywood will be honoring Tyscot Recording Artist and Gospel 1390 personality, Pastor DeAndre Patterson this Saturday. He and the first lady of Destiny Worship Center, Patricia will also be celebrating their son, Dylan’s 1st birthday. Patterson can be heard from 2p to 5p on Saturday afternoons.

Pastor Slayton Palms, Jr. will be in a birthday celebration Sunday at First Pentecostal Church of God, 5146 S. Ashland. On hand to help him celebrate will be Elder David Whittley of Corinthians Temple COGIC, Jermaine Faber and Anointed Ministries, Pastor Morrow and Zion Grove Church Choir as well as the Acme Baptist Church Choir. Janet Harris-Sutton will be the guest mistress of ceremonies. The event begins at 5pm and is free and open to the public.

Joe Jr will be in his debut cd release concert this Sunday, January 15th presented by Blapop Records. The cd which features songs for the entire family will be at the New Zion Christian Fellowship Center, 14200 S. Chicago Road in Dolton.
